| Non conventional NKT cells for use in cancer therapy
|
| |
| Technical Description : |
| Natural killer cells are naturally capable of eliminating cancerous cells by contact-dependent mechanisms. However, tumoral cells escape this defence mechanism by modifying the immune system response, and particularly by repressing the differentiation of lymphocytes in natural killer cells. The inventors have dissected out the mechanisms of this differentiation, and describe here a method to differentiate T cells in ncNKT (non conventional natural killer cells) and use them for a cell-based cancer therapy. |
